Technical Analyst
The Technical Analyst agent specializes in parsing complex chart data and indicator readings. It can automatically extract symbols, timeframes, and indicators from your natural language queries to plot them directly on your workspace.
What It Does
The Technical Analyst uses a focused LLM to analyze market data. It doesn’t just parse text; it understands market context to decide on the best symbol, timeframe, and indicators for your specific query.
Step 1: Select the Technical Analyst
Click the **Brain icon** in the bottom-right of the chat to open the Agent Selector, then choose **Technical Analyst**. This ensures your query is handled by the specialist optimized for indicator analysis and chart plotting.
Example 1: Basic Indicator Overlay
**Prompt:** "Show EURUSD on 1H with RSI and MACD indicators" **What You Get:** The agent automatically switches your chart to the 1-hour timeframe and overlays the RSI and MACD indicators. It also provides a text breakdown of the indicator readings.
Example 2: Specific Indicator Request
**Prompt:** "Display chart for GBPUSD with Bollinger Bands" **What You Get:** An interactive chart for GBPUSD with Bollinger Bands plotted. The response includes a radial chart showing the consensus signal (Buy/Sell) based on the bands.
